D B Corp CIO Amit Waghmare Exits, Rakesh Khetan Named Successor

D B Corp, the media and publishing company, has named a new CIO. The existing Information Technology head Amit Prakasrao Waghmare has resigned, and Rakesh Khetan has been named as his replacement, the company informed in a regulatory filing.

The company said, “Took note of the resignation of Mr Amit Prakashrao Waghmare, a senior management person from the post of ‘Chief Information Officer’ of the technology department of the company. His last working day with the company will be January 31, 2026.”

Addressing his resignation to the CHRO Ravi Gupta, Waghmare said, “I would like to formally resign from my position of Chief Information Officer, Grade: Ml/1, at D.B. Corp Limited, Bhopal, effective from January 31, 2026, in accordance with my notice period. 

The decision to resign has been taken after careful consideration and is driven by a better career opportunity. I sincerely express my gratitude to the senior leadership, and my colleagues for the trust, support, and collaboration extended to me during my tenure. Thank you once again for the opportunities and professional association. I wish D.B. Corp Limited continued growth, success, and excellence in the years ahead.”

The newly appointed CIO Khetan holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, MBA in Business Administration, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA).

Khetan’s professional certifications include ITIL 4, Certified Oracle Professional, CMM Professional, and SIA Professional. He has over 21 years of experience in information technology, digital transformation, IT governance, and cybersecurity.

He also holds extensive expertise in formulating and implementing enterprise IT strategies, ERP implementations, cloud migrations, cybersecurity frameworks, digital platforms, automation, and IT risk management. Khetan has the experience of working closely on IT governance, compliance, and business continuity management.

He has held senior management and leadership positions with reputed organizations including Wilmart Limited, Olam Agro India Ltd., Adani Group, and Tata Motors Ltd.
