Vamsikrishna Ithamraju, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Axis Mutual Fund has moved from the financial services industry to the human resources and staffing vertical.. He joined TeamLease Services as Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) effective January 7, 2026, informed the company in a regulatory filing.
“Mr. Vamsikrishna Ithamraju joins us and brings over two decades of experience in technology leadership across financial services, fintech, capital markets, and consulting. He has a strong track record of building and scaling high- performance engineering teams, modernizing legacy platforms, and driving cloud-native and AI-led transformations at scale,” said the filing.
Most recently, Ithamraju served as CTO at Axis Mutual Fund, where he led large, multi-disciplinary technology teams and played a key role in building scalable digital platforms that significantly enhanced customer experience and business growth. His prior experience spans senior leadership roles at NeoGrowth, Deloitte / CreditAccess Asia, Infosys, and other leading institutions, with extensive exposure across India, APAC, Europe, and the US.
Ithamraju holds an MBA in Systems from SP Jain School of Management, Singapore, and is certified in PMP, AWS Solutions Architecture, ITIL, and COBIT. He is also a recipient of multiple industry recognitions.
