Rubrik’s technology portfolio will help secure McLaren Racing’s data to power critical technical development processes and operations.

McLaren Racing has named cyber resilience firm Rubrik as an official technology partner for its Formula 1 and IndyCar teams, as part of a partnership aimed at strengthening the security, availability and integrity of data across its global racing operations. As Formula 1 teams operate under constant performance pressure and a tightly packed racing schedule, uninterrupted access to reliable data plays a critical role in technical development and day-to-day operations.
As part of the collaboration, Rubrik will deploy its cyber resilience technologies to help secure McLaren Racing’s data infrastructure, supporting engineering processes and day-to-day racing operations. Both organisations have highlighted resilience and rapid recovery as key enablers of performance in high pressure environments.
Commenting on the deal, Zak Brown, CEO, McLaren Racing, said “We operate in one of the most data‑driven sports in the world. Data integrity is a competitive advantage and partnering with Rubrik will help enhance speed, high performance and reliability.”
